PeopleBrowsr Unveils Social Network Command Center

Powerhouse data mining and analytics provider PeopleBrowsr today unveiled Dash.ly, the re-release of its flagship Command Center product. A clever breakthrough among the crowded field of social networking apps and aggregators, Dash.ly is packed with features designed to meet the needs of brand managers and power marketers as well as the casual user. This integrated, centralized social media engagement dashboard offers visualization and access to all of your social streams, simultaneously or in any combination. Follow and engage your various contacts; monitor your network across multiple platforms, and track the memes and themes that bring value to your social media experience.

Dash.ly combines the Twitter experience with more than a dozen additional social media platforms. Browser based or available through Adobe Air, Dash.ly comes in three versions customized to the needs of specific users- Lite, Advanced, and Business. Having a centralized presence positions you to listen to the larger conversations that are important to your world and to participate efficiently and effectively .

Dash.ly does it all. You can link to multiple Twitter accounts as well as Facebook, FriendFeed, Digg, Flickr, YouTube, Seesmic, and countless other popular social networks. View them in separate columns or read them in a single stream, along with posts from your followers, sent items, @replies, DM’s, and favorites. You can tweet or post, @reply, DM, or shorten links right from the dashboard or the individual item. You can sort by location, keywords, group, favorites, and even “VIP’s.” You can adjust the colors and themes for a personalized experience.

Dash.ly provides infinite ways to filter information. Expand a tweet to follow a larger thread. Tag individual tweets and create groups with a common #hashtag across multiple networks. Generate reports based on users, topics, and keywords. Build campaigns based on keyword combinations and automate your responses. Publish data with RSS or a URL or keep it internal. Add items to your “to-do” list or assign them to another team member. Schedule tweets to post later or at future intervals. Link your contacts’ profiles across multiple platforms to have all of their biographical information in the same place. You can even receive notifications and respond directly from your email inbox.

Use Case

This Fall, I was unable to attend Jon Stewart’s “Rally for Sanity” in Washington, D.C., so I found Dash.ly invaluable for following the event. As expected, several different hashtags were organically generated by the crowd, but I was able to group them together and follow everything in one stream. The gallery feature was a wonderful way to view pictures posted by attendees, and I could easily share my favorites across multiple platforms. I was even able to watch video of the musical acts as soon as they were uploaded. As my day got busier, I was able to tag interesting tweets and curate them to my network later on. It was a wonderful way to share in an experience that I hated having to miss, and I have a full record of the event through the eyes of those who were there.
